The Ontario Best Practices Research Initiative (OBRI) was founded in 2005 through the co-operative efforts of patients, rheumatologists and researchers to help improve treatment and outcomes of Ontarians living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).
Our Mission
To improve the quality of care and health outcomes of RA patients by gathering long-term information on therapies, clinical practice and health care utilization in the real world.
Our Goals
- Define safety, effectiveness and sustainability of available RA therapies
- Identify clinical practice patterns that improve patient health outcomes
- Use clinical and economic outcome data to inform efficient health care decisions
How to Participate
Patients diagnosed with RA who are receiving care from a rheumatologist are eligible to participate.
