OBRI to present latest research at Canadian Rheumatology Association Annual Scientific Meeting

This week OBRI researchers will present their latest findings in Vancouver at the Canadian Rheumatology Association (CRA) Annual Scientific Meeting (February 21-24, 2018).  This annual meeting showcases the various research endeavours of the Canadian Rheumatology Association (CRA) and the Arthritis Health Professions Association (AHPA) members and fosters research collaboration and exchange of ideas.

The OBRI has 4 scientific poster presentations.  Dr. Raman Joshi will present “Impact of Residential Area on the Profile of Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients Initiating their First Biologic DMARD: Results from the Ontario Best Practices Research Initiative (OBRI)”.  Dr. Janet Pope will present “Anti-CCP and Rheumatoid Factor as Predictors of Sustained Clinical Remission in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients: Data from a Canadian Observational Cohort”.  Dr. Claire Bombardier will present “Clinical Response to The First Biologic in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients with Moderate Disease in a Real World Clinical Cohort” and “Time to Discontinuation of Biologic Therapy by Mechanism of Action in Rheumatoid Arthritis: Results from the Ontario Best Practice Research Initiative (OBRI) Cohort”.
